As the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) continues to climb the community is becoming increasingly concerned. ABSANZ is the peak body in biosafety and biosecurity across Australasia and over the past few weeks, together with our affiliates, have been monitoring events closely and consulting directly with a number of stakeholders and community groups on various aspects of the biosafety and biocontainment of SARS-CoV-2 as the causative agent.
