Biologicals Consultative Group (BCG) - Call for Feedback

The next Biological Consultative Group (BCG) meeting will be held on the 20th April 2021. The BCG is co-ordinated by the Animal and Biological Imports Branch (ABIB) of the Department of Agriculture Water and the Environment (DAWE) to facilitate dialogue relating to imports of biological goods. Members of the ABSANZ Regulatory Liaison Committee (RLC) attend the BCG meeting on behalf of ABSANZ.
ABSANZ members are invited to provide feedback for inclusion in the ABSANZ submission to the BCG. Feedback can be provided on any aspect of the importation process for example BICON and importation difficulties, communication with the DAWE and areas that require improvement. Further information on the BCG and previous submissions can be viewed on the Regulatory Liaison section of the ABSANZ website.
Feedback can be submitted to manager@absanz.org.au no later than COB Wednesday 14th April 2021.
