Payment Surcharges – Changes from 1 October 2026
In accordance with changes being implemented by the Reserve Bank of Australia and the ACCC regarding how prices are advertised and surcharges are applied to transactions, ABSANZ will no longer apply surcharges to online payments from 1 October 2026.
While we have endeavoured to update our systems to reflect these changes, if you notice a surcharge included on your invoice or payment after 1 October 2026, please contact us so we can correct the issue promptly.
