IFBA Examinations
Candidates who wish to sit the IFBA examination must register directly with IFBA in order to sit the exam.
The IFBA examinations can be taken online, alternatively ABSANZ offers paper-based examinations at;
9th Annual ABSANZ Biosafety and Containment Conference

Room M13, Crown Conference Centre, Melbourne
The cost of each examination is $200 USD. See more details of pricing here under 'Certification Fees'.
The examinations are 2 hours in duration and will be comprised of 100 multiple choice questions with a pass mark to be set based on a psychometric review of the results.
To register to sit an IFBA exam
You will need to do this through IFBA directly. See the IFBA examination process on the IFBA website to view details and scroll down to the bottom to the 'Applying' header. You will need to create an account with Certifior. The Guide to Creating an Account in Certifior will explain this process in detail. Once this is complete, you can register for any exam listed in Certifior. You may find the Guide to Using Certifior useful.
