2025 ABSANZ Conference Scholarship
The ABSANZ Conference Scholarship is a valuable opportunity for ABSANZ members who reside in Australia and New Zealand and who require financial assistance to attend the 2025 ABSANZ Annual Conference. Please see below further details of the scholarship, including eligibility, inclusions, exclusions, and cancellation policies:
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a current financial member of ABSANZ at the time of the conference (October 2025).
- Complete the application form.
- Submit the application by the due date.
- Be a resident of either Australia or New Zealand.
Please note, scholarships are limited, and submitting an application does not guarantee that you will be awarded a scholarship.
Scholarship Inclusions:
The scholarship covers:
- Full Registration for the 2025 ABSANZ Annual Conference, which includes:
- Welcome Reception
- Conference Dinner
- Networking Events
- Workshop and Tours associated with the conference.
- Up to 5 nights accommodation at the IBIS Hotel, Sydney Olympic Park.
Scholarship Exclusions:
The scholarship does not cover:
- Flights or other associated travel costs (including visas, if required).
- Any honorariums or per diems.
Cancellation Policy:
- If you are unable to accept the scholarship or cannot attend the conference, ABSANZ must be notified immediately.
- The ABSANZ Board will attempt to offer the scholarship to an alternative applicant if there is time before the conference.
- No monetary compensation will be provided if the scholarship is not accepted or used.
- The scholarship cannot be carried over to future years.

- Scholarships are limited, so submitting an application is important, but not a guarantee of receiving the scholarship.
- Scholarship Applications close Wednesday 30th April 2025. Successful applicants will be announced in May 2025.
Peer Review Process:
All submitted applications will undergo a peer review process conducted by the ABSANZ subcommittees, with the ABSANZ Board making the final decision. Each abstract will be evaluated on the response to the selection question. Once the review process is complete, you will be notified of the outcome. This is an excellent opportunity to further your professional development, expand your network, and gain valuable insights into the industry at the ABSANZ Annual Conference in 2025.
