The Association of Biosafety for Australia and New Zealand is excited to be hosting the 12th Annual Conference in Brisbane.
The 2024 Conference theme is “The Future of Containment – Thinking Outside the ‘Facility’”, with workshops and presentations demonstrating the breadth of biosafety and biosecurity activities and their relevance to communities, the environment and industry.
Together we will explore the idea of new types of containment in novel settings, and address the challenges of adapting to evolving research, emerging biological and biosecurity threats and changing environmental conditions.
Additionally, the conference provides an excellent platform for networking, allowing attendees to form new connections and collaborate on research projects. Beyond the formal program, the conference also offers various social events and opportunities to explore South East Queensland, making it a fulfilling and enriching experience for all who attend.
